The Artists’ Lab presents Swing Set, a local touring dance troupe directed by Joe Palmer and Catherine Schmetter. The troupe, comprised of amateur dancers, specializes in various dance forms including lindy hop, balboa, west coast swing, Carolina shag, foxtrot, waltz and nightclub two-step choreographed by master teacher and choreographer Joe Palmer. As a group we give back to the community by touring nursing homes, assisted living facilities, VA hospitals, schools and dance events allowing us to bring our show to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the joy of swing!
